SECURITY NOTICE
Date: 30 October 2026
Dear guests,
The security of your personal data is very important to us. We would therefore like to inform you of a security incident involving our booking software provider.
What happened?
Between 8 and 9 October 2026, unauthorised parties gained access to booking information through a security vulnerability at our booking software provider.
According to our software provider, the security vulnerability was patched on 9 October.
Unfortunately, the booking information that may have been compromised is still being used in fraudulent WhatsApp messages and emails.
How can I spot a fraudulent message?
The messages may appear deceptively genuine, as some of them include your name, booking number, travel dates or the accommodation you have booked.
Typical signs include:
- You are asked to reconfirm your booking via a link.
- You are asked to enter credit card details or make an additional payment.
- It is claimed that your booking will otherwise be cancelled within 24 hours.
- The message comes from an unknown phone number.
Important: Your booking remains valid.
No additional confirmation or payment is required as a result of this security incident.
What data might be affected?
Based on the information available so far, names, contact details and booking information, amongst other things, may be affected.
According to our software provider, no credit card details or passwords were stolen from the affected booking system as a result of this security incident.
It is not currently possible to determine conclusively which individual bookings were actually affected.
What should I do if I receive such a message?
1. Do not open any suspicious links.
2. Do not enter any personal details or credit card details.
3. Do not make any payments in response to an unexpected message.
4. If you are unsure, contact us directly using our official contact details.

What if I’ve already clicked on a link?
If you’ve already entered credit card details or made a payment, please contact your bank or credit card company immediately.
If you have only opened a link but have not entered any details, this does not automatically mean that your payment details have been stolen.
What have we done?
As soon as we became aware of the security incident, we contacted our booking software provider.
We have informed our guests about possible fraud attempts, documented any suspicious messages and reported the incident to the relevant authorities.
We remain in contact with our software provider.
Is my booking still valid?
Yes. Your existing booking with Woody Park naturally remains valid.
No additional confirmation is required as a result of this security incident.
Should any regular payments for your booking still be outstanding, the agreed payment terms and official payment methods continue to apply.
Are you unsure or do you have any questions?
We’re happy to assist you personally.
